PIGEON GUARD INSTALLATION · LAS VEGAS

PROFESSIONAL PIGEON GUARD INSTALLATION

Protect your solar panels from nesting pigeons with a professionally installed physical barrier designed to block access beneath the array.

WHY PIGEONS NEST UNDER SOLAR PANELS

THE SPACE UNDER YOUR PANELS.

Solar panels create a shaded, protected space that pigeons can use for nesting and shelter. Once birds begin using the area, the problem can quickly turn into a recurring mess.

Droppings, feathers, nesting material, and constant bird activity can accumulate around the array, roofline, gutters, and surrounding areas. A properly installed pigeon guard helps close off access to that space.

01 NESTING UNDER PANELS

The protected space beneath a solar array gives pigeons shelter from sun, wind, and predators.

02 DROPPINGS & DEBRIS

Bird droppings, feathers, and nesting material can build up around panels, roof surfaces, and nearby gutters.

03 RECURRING BIRD ACTIVITY

Once pigeons establish a nesting area, they can continue returning unless access beneath the array is physically blocked.

HOW PIGEON GUARDS WORK

BUILT TO FIT. BUILT TO BLOCK ACCESS.

Pigeon guards create a physical barrier around the exposed perimeter of your solar array, helping prevent pigeons from accessing the protected space beneath the panels.

We use galvanized steel mesh that is measured, cut, and shaped specifically for your solar array and roof — including the unique contours found on Spanish tile roofs.

01

CUSTOM FIT TO YOUR HOME

Every roof and solar array is different. We measure and custom-cut the guard on site to follow the exposed perimeter of your solar panels and the unique shape of your roof.

02

GALVANIZED STEEL MESH

We use durable galvanized steel mesh to create a strong physical barrier around the solar array. The galvanized finish helps resist corrosion and outdoor exposure, while the rigid mesh helps prevent pigeons from pushing their way underneath.

03

SHAPED AROUND SPANISH TILE

On Spanish tile roofs, the mesh is individually cut and shaped around the contours of the tile to close off potential entry points and create a tighter, cleaner finished installation.

OPTIONAL PIGEON DETERRENTS

TARGETED PIGEON DETERRENTS.

Solar-panel guards help block pigeons from accessing the protected space beneath your array, but birds may still use nearby ledges, parapets, rooflines, beams, and other surfaces as landing or perching areas.

Repellent spikes and bird-repellent gel can be added in targeted locations to help make those areas less desirable for pigeons.

01 LONG-TERM PHYSICAL DETERRENT

REPELLENT SPIKES

A durable physical deterrent designed for recurring pigeon landing and perching areas.

HOW THEY WORK

Repellent spikes are installed along targeted surfaces such as ledges, rooflines, parapets, beams, and other areas where pigeons repeatedly land or perch.

The spikes occupy the available landing space and make it difficult for pigeons to comfortably settle on the surface, encouraging them to move somewhere else.

EXPECTED USE LONG-TERM

Repellent spikes are designed as a durable, non-lethal physical deterrent and do not rely on poison or chemicals to discourage pigeons.

02 LOW-PROFILE DETERRENT

REPELLENT GEL

A discreet deterrent for targeted pigeon landing and perching areas where a lower-profile solution is preferred.

HOW IT WORKS

Bird-repellent gel is strategically applied to surfaces where pigeons repeatedly land or perch. Depending on the product used, the treated surface creates an uncomfortable or undesirable landing area that encourages pigeons to relocate.

Because the gel has a low visual profile, it can be useful in areas where maintaining the appearance of the property is especially important.

TYPICAL LONGEVITY 6–12 MONTHS*

Actual service life depends on the specific product, placement, sun exposure, weather, and environmental conditions.

CHOOSING A DETERRENT

DIFFERENT AREAS. DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS.

REPELLENT SPIKES

Best suited for a durable, longer-term physical deterrent on recurring landing and perching areas.

REPELLENT GEL

Best suited for discreet, targeted applications where a lower-profile deterrent is preferred and periodic reapplication is acceptable.

DETERRENCE, NOT EXTERMINATION

These solutions are intended to make problem areas difficult or undesirable for pigeons to use rather than relying on poisons. Repellent spikes are non-lethal physical deterrents. Gel safety and use requirements vary by product, so each application should follow the manufacturer's instructions.
